AMERICAN FLAG  LINKS  AND AMERICAN FLAG INFORMATION

Know your American Flag

Find the history of the American flag  and learn flag etiquette and specifications.  Who was Betsy Ross?  When do you stand for the flag?  How do you fold the flag?  How do you display the American Flag?

Learn how to make flag address labels

Did you know that you can use Microsoft Word to create your own address labels?  It's easier than you think.  I find it easiest to first copy a flag image into a Word document.  Several can be found on the  this site and other sources.  Then highlight it.  Click "tools" then "letters and mailing" then "envelopes and labels" and follow the directions or click "help" in right hand corner.  The software allows you to look for brand names, sizes, and brand numbers to fit your labels.  You can also add flag images to business or personal cards in the same way, simply by purchasing blank business card stock and using the same technique, selecting the brand product number for the business card stock.
